President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his pledge to fix the economy as part of his resetting agenda.

Speaking during his maiden Fellowship with the Clergy earlier today, Friday February 28, 2025 at the Accra International Conference Center, he reiterated his commitment to stabilizing the economy to restore hope and confidence in the citizenry.

“The state of our economy is deeply concerning but by the Grace of God and with his guidance and help and the help of my team, I assure you we will fix it”.

President Mahama said, he will work with his team to stabilize the country’s currency, and bring down interest rates.

“Our immediate priority is to stabilize the economy and restore confidence in Ghana. Stabilize our currency, bring down interest rates, reduce inflation, reduce the deficit and improve the primary balance”.

President Mahama revealed at his maiden “President Mahama fellowship with the Clergy”that his government plans to implement strategic measures to boost investor confidence.

He emphasized his government’s commitment to cutting down on wasteful expenditure.
