NPP postpones disciplinary hearing for Adwoa Safo

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially postponed the disciplinary hearing for former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo.

The hearing, originally scheduled for Monday, April 7, 2025, has been deferred due to “emerging scheduling adjustments and internal considerations,” according to a statement from the party’s national secretariat.

The statement, jointly signed by Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, Patrick Boamah and Director of Finance and Administration, William Yamoah assured that a new date and time for the hearing would be announced soon.

The party emphasized its unwavering commitment to fairness, due process, and procedural integrity in addressing disciplinary matters.

“Emerging scheduling adjustments a and considerations necessitated this decision. Once a rescheduled, we will notify you promptly of the new date and time for the hearing,” part of the statement read.

Sarah Adwoa Safo was initially invited to appear before the committee via a notice dated March 24, 2025.
