The determined leader has picked up nomination forms to contest the position of Secretary for Women’s Development within the esteemed National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS).

Sandra Talata, known for her relentless commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, has been a beacon of inspiration for students during her tenure at GIMPA. Her decision to vie for the NUGS position comes as a natural progression in her ongoing efforts to uplift and amplify the voices of Ghanaian women within the educational sector.

NUGS, the largest student union in Ghana, plays a pivotal role in addressing students’ concerns, promoting their welfare, and championing their rights. The Secretary for Women’s Development holds a critical position within the organization, entrusted with spearheading initiatives to enhance the educational experiences of female students and advocate for gender equality in educational institutions nationwide.

In response to her nomination, Sandra stated, “I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to represent the women of Ghana within the esteemed National Union of Ghana Students. It is our collective responsibility to empower young women and provide them with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive academically, professionally, and personally.
