The Tertiary Students Confederacy of the University of Ghana – Accra City Campus chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has presented a citation to the Third National Vice Chairman of the ruling NPP, Michael Omari Wadie.

TESCON Executives paid a courtesy call on him in recognition of his immense commitment to ensuring a formidable TESCON on various campuses across the country and for also being an exceptional politician.

Presenting the citation, Rockson Obeng, the president of UG-ACC of TESCON noted they were inspired to honor the National Vice Chairman for his commitment to duty during his days as constituency chairman and till now as the National vice-chairman of the great elephant party. He said, “Chairman Wadie is an epitome of excellence worth emulating by all party leaders. He is a real godfather and mentor to the youth and the young elephants. We pray that he continues with his good work and keep impacting the youth.”

A portion of the citation read, “You are brave and courageous and by dint of hard work, you have been able to match our political opponents at the slightest opportunity you get. TESCON UG-ACC chapter is proud of you and may you keep on keeping on”

Omari Wadie thanked the group for recognizing his role in the party’s successes during his time as constituency chairman and now national vice-chairman.

He, therefore, promised to continue to serve his party and also helps His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his vision to build a Ghana beyond aid.
