NAPO’s political career has been marked by significant milestones, including his service as Member of Parliament for Manhyia constituency (2009-2012) and Manhyia South constituency (2013-present), Minister of Education (2017-2020), and Minister of Energy (2021-present). His impressive political trajectory has culminated in his appointment as running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 general elections, a testament to his leadership and dedication.

The 1985/87 Year Group said “NAPO’s achievements have brought immense pride to Prempeh College, our fellow alumni, and the entire Amanfoo community”. The Group added that, they have unwavering confidence in NAPO’s capability to excel as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and fulfill his aspiration of becoming the next Vice President of the Republic of Ghana.

The Class of 1985/87 of the Prempeh College Old Students Association added, “We extends our heartfelt congratulations to you, NAPO, and offer prayers for God’s wisdom, guidance, and protection throughout your political journey”.
