The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has appealed to the constituents of Abetifi in the Eastern Region of Ghana to consider voting for the NPP in the upcoming elections. During his Eastern regional tour on Wednesday, August 28, he emphasized the importance of continuing the good work initiated by the NPP government, rather than opting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, who he claims lacks innovative solutions for Ghana’s progress.

Dr. Bawumia highlighted the numerous policies outlined in the NPP’s manifesto, which his administration plans to implement to stimulate Ghana’s economic growth. He criticized the NDC, stating that their policies are vague and unimpressive, particularly their “24-hour economy” concept, which they themselves struggle to explain.

Bawumia emphasized that Ghana requires an upgrade, not a reset, and pointed out that John Mahama’s previous presidency was marred by poor governance, including electricity crises ‘Dumsor’, cancellation of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, and other shortcomings.

He urged the people of Abetifi to vote massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary candidate, Bryan Acheampong, in the December polls, promising a continuation of the NPP’s developmental agenda.
