Ghanaian midfielder Obeng Regan is close to joining Spanish La Liga outfit Deportivo Alaves in the summer transfer window, according to media reports.
The 23-year-old was being courted by the scouts of the Blue and White lads during his spell at Croatian top-flight side NK Inter Zapresic.
According to reports in the media, the Mendizorrotza Stadium outfit have reached an agreement with his mother club FK Cukaricki over his acquisition.
He had a remarkable debut season in the Croatian top-flight league where he made 18 appearances for NK Inter Zapresic during his stay.
Alaves already have two Ghanaians in their fold namely Mubarak Wakaso and Joseph Otu who recently joined them from third-tier side Cheetah FC.
The left-footer midfielder played for the youth sides of Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko before leaving for Europe.
Obeng is yet to earn a call-up to feature for Ghana at any level.
