Accra Hearts of Oak operations Manager Joshua Acquah has reportedly resigned from his post after his involvement in an alleged betting scandal.
Joshua Acquah is said to be under investigation after allegedly involving in the deceitful act.
He is reported to have tendered in his resignation letter on Tuesday just hours after news about his said scandal emerged in the media.
Aziz Haruna Futah, staunch supporter of the Rainbow Club had early on revealed the unscrupulous act in the Club.
“There is corruption and gambling in Accra Hearts of Oak and the Premier League Board must investigate this issue”, Aziz Haruna said on Asempa FM.
The Ghana Football Association is expected to look into the matter thoroughly following series of allegation by some Club officials in the League.
Elmina Sharks owner Dr Papa Kwesi Ndoum on Monday expressed disappointment and grief citing incidence of corruption in the League after his side’s defeat to Aduana Stars.
