Jordan Ayew has been the shining light for Ghanaians especially Coach Kwesi Appiah after bagging two goals in three games at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

The form of the Swansea City striker has been a delight to many especially his elder brother Andre Ayew, who has also urged him to continue carrying the team at the final third of the pitch.

Jordan Ayew has been heavily criticised in this tournament but he seems to be gradually winning back support from Ghanaians thanks to his recent inspiring performances.

After his goal last night, he has now been involved in four of the Black Stars’ last seven goals at the Africa Cup of Nations (3 goals, 1 assist)

Ghana’s Black Stars have secured a place in the next round of the 2019 AFCON after a 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday.

Goals from Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey helped the Stars remain unbeaten in the tournament and finished top of Group F.

The Stars will lock horns with the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia who booked their place in the knockout phase after finishing second in Group E.
