The Minority in Parliament says it expects the Member of Parliament for Kpandai, Matthew Nyindam, to return to the House to carry out his duties following the Supreme Court’s ruling.
The Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, stated that Mr Nyindam remains a legitimate MP and is entitled to function as such until the final determination of the case, in line with the Supreme Court’s decision.
He criticised Parliament, the Speaker, and the Clerk to Parliament for what he described as a rushed decision to communicate with the Electoral Commission, arguing that the action was premature and inconsistent with the court’s ruling.
