Quitting weed is not always easy. As many of us know, trying weed may be easy, but for those who go on to get hooked.

Discontinuing can be one of the greatest challenges. For some, it can really be a drug that sticks its claws in, affecting every part of their lives, and refusing to let go, even when there are ready to move on.

Wee addict on Happy FM’s Nsem Pii show talk candidly about his initial experiences following his recent decision to quit weed after years of use.

“I smoke 3 rows of weed like 15 times daily. When I smoke I become so strong that I can work or weed an arch of land without taking meal the whole day [Morning to evening]. I was 18years old when I started smoking, I must say I was very young then. My friends and I can smoke 50 kilos of weed [sack] in a week. Sack of the weed cost GHC 800. I couldn’t stay without smoking 3rows of ‘wee’ in every 5minites, In fact, I can’t stay a day without smoking ‘wee’,” the man confesses.

Talking about what made him changed, he said, “on September 3rd this year, I was on the farm and have gathered some ‘wee’ hat I was about to smoke, and I heard Pastor Nyansa giving words of motivation basing on Jeremiah 9:9. I paused for a while and listened to him since then till now I have stopped smoking.”
