Blame Hearts of Oak management for club’s current woes- TT Brothers

Former Board member of Hearts of Oak, Isaac Tetteh, and current bankroller of Uncle T United says the current management should be blamed for the woes facing the club.

Hearts of Oak suffered a humiliating defeat to Malian side Real Bamako at the Stade 36 Mars in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Shedding more light on why the Phobians continue to struggle in Africa, Isaac Tetteh uttered his dismay at the way some strange decisions are taken by management.

“This is quite worrying but I would not blame anyone but the management of the club for the troubles they are suffering.

“Looking at the timing of Coach Samuel Boadu’s sacking, it was not the right time and till now I’m very pained that Coach Boadu wasn’t the man to lead the Phobians into Africa”. He told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM.

“Sometimes we say when players become used to a particular coach’s tactics, it has advantages and disadvantages. There is a mutual understanding between the said coach and players at that particular moment so going into Africa Coach Samuel Boadu should have been allowed to lead the team.

“I was one of the individuals who pushed for him to be given a five-year contract so we could see what he could also do when the team goes into Africa.

“Look at the problems being faced by the club, it is sad”. He added.

The return leg will be hosted by the Phobians at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 16.
