President of the Ghana Football Association and his vice George Afriyie are at loggerheads with each other, according to grapevine sources at the FA.
Information reaching HappyGhana.com indicates that the two most powerful men in Ghana football engaged in an altercation in the United States when the Black Stars played two friendlies against Mexico and USA as they blamed each other for the several mishaps that happened.
Kwesi Nyantakyi is said to have questioned George Afriyie on why he allowed Asamoah Gyan to pay for bills with his master card while George Afriyie also accused Kwesi Nyantakyi of keeping him in the dark over the arrangements of the friendlies Ghana played in the United States.
Further information indicate George Afriyie has had enough of President Nyantaky and has told him his piece of mind in a recorded audio which is available to Kwesi Nyantakyi in which George questioned him on sponsorship deals and subsequently tagged him as greedy while Nyantakyi is reported to have labeled George as a traitor.
The two fell out in 2016 amidst a vile disagreement which was resolved by J.Y Appiah and Kwame Ofosu Bamfo at the Alisa Hotel but the situation has gone out of hand and reports suggest President Nyantakyi is thinking of replacing him as the vice president of the association.
