The Deputy Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), Twum Barimah, has urged the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev. Ntim Fordjour, to collaborate with the Commission in investigating his claims of drug trafficking and money laundering involving two aircrafts that recently landed in Ghana.

According to him, in order for them to arrest persons involved in the alleged crime, Rev. Ntim’s cooperation is very important.

Speaking in an interview he said, “To apprehend or arrest any other person who is involved in his so-called suspicious act, he should cooperate with us, the security agencies, to make sure that we get the appropriate or required information and act on it. I will advise my good friend and brother that he should cooperate with us if he really wants us to get to the root of this matter”.

Mr. Barimah stressed that if the MP fails to cooperate, “appropriate action will be taken, as there are several options available to pursue”.

A week ago, Rev. Ntim Fordjour claimed at a press briefing that intelligence the minority had received indicated an air ambulance, Air MED flight L823 AM, landed at the Kotoka International Airport on March 20, 2025, and remained in the country for five days.

He noted, however, that there was no evidence the aircraft transported any patient upon its arrival or departure.
